I thought I'd try something different and review some popular filipino chips! I purchased a few packets from the local 7/11 and I love them all!
The chips here are cheap, averaging about a dollar a bag (Australian). In no particular order and judging purely on packaging I grabbed a packet of the Snacku, Chippy, Chiz Curls, Clover Chips and Sweet Corn. I also tried Chicharon from R. Lapids that I bought from an SM Mall.
They were all tasty and super addictive! This is really going to derail my future diet plans! If vegetables actually tasted like the Sweet Corn and Snacku Crisps I'd be vegan!

The Chiz Curls reminded me of my favourite chips from Australia - The Zig-Zag Twisties. They are very cheesy, light and Airy. I can see myself devouring 4 bags easily. The Clover chips are crisp & cheesy and the chippy's have a nice barbecue flavour with a crunchier texture. The Sweet Corn chips are true to its name and has a very sweet taste with a hint of a corn flavouring.
The R. Lapids Chicharon is hands down the best I've ever eaten. Words cannot describe how good it tastes if you are a chicharon fan! Head over to your nearest R. Lapids Chicharon store and grab a bag for yourself.
After eating all these chip varieties I've come to the conclusion that they are so good its bad. I'll definitely continue to buy these to have at home. My least favourite is the Barbeque flavour Chippy's but they still taste good. The Chicharon is also tasty paired with vinegar. I noticed the Chicharon and Snaku Crisps get quite salty after eating too many but besides that I have nothing negative to say. It's all about balance! It's okay to have a cheat snack every now and again! I Recommend all of the above.
Let me know if you have any other snack reccomendations! I'd love to try more!
